We use Digital Ice software, which is a Kodak product that can not only correct, but enhance the image. This digital converter software has infrared channel which detects density differences and defects on the 35mm slide. Then, a tri-level defect matte indicates the location and severity of the defects such as scratches, dust, or hair on the image. Finally, an advanced pixel operation substantially reduces those bad spots on each of your 35mm slide images.
